What a Season It’s Been!
This past month was nothing short of inspiring. We had an incredible time at the Capital One Summit in Richmond, a day filled with learning, laughing, and, of course, sharing our gluten-free deliciousness. It was such a joy reconnecting with our EAN family, meeting so many fabulous entrepreneurs, and taking part in the marketplace. Huge thanks to Capital One and their team for making it all possible.
We also had the honor of attending the Chase Make Your Move Summit in Chicago. Night one at the Salt Shed included a special performance by Sheryl Crow and a generous donation to AC4B, the same organization that supported us with a loan and grant in 2024. Yes, that's yours truly with Brad, AC4B’s CEO holding the big check in the picture! Day two at the Marriott Marquis featured an incredible lineup of speakers, including Vince Vaughn, Sloane Stephens, Barbara Corcoran (Shark Tank), and Kevin Warren, CEO of the Chicago Bears.
The excitement continued with the grand opening of Forty Acres Fresh Market on Chicago’s West Side. It was a joy to celebrate with owner Elizabeth Abunaw, whom I’ve known for years from the Westside Farmers Market, and to see community leaders like Congressman Danny Davis and so many others come out in support. Best of all: our Berry Nutty and Harvest Blend Granola are now officially on the shelves at Forty Acres!
And the momentum doesn’t stop there-- Ms. P’s Gluten Free has officially been accepted into World Business Chicago’s Startup Portfolio for the upcoming Chicago Venture Summit: Future of Food! We’re honored to be recognized among 100 innovative brands across food and agriculture tech, and we can’t wait to connect with fellow thought leaders and sample our treats on October 14.
From Richmond to Chicago, and everywhere in between, we’re grateful for every opportunity to grow, share, and spread the joy of gluten-free living. None of this would be possible without our Ms. P’s Nation cheering us on every step of the way.
